There are most certainly plenty of backdoor deals with the state.

This amount of water though isn’t anywhere near “nearly all the water in CA”. 150,000,000,000 gallons per year averages to about 410mcfs. That’s about 5-10% of the capacity of the largest aqueduct in Kern County. That’s just that single aqueduct’s capacity not all the others & it is a state owned aqueduct.
This is internet bullshit. That family owns a private water bank.

Jesus christ wtf cares what anyone looks like.
I treat everyone with respect on every call I respond to, and I have never had anyone complain about how I look.... I probably wouldn't make it in LA however on account of being too White and too Male 😆

Idiots in LA just sent an evacuation warning to ALL of LA county. Then 15 minutes later had to issue a retraction.

The level of incompetence is staggering.

It was hilarious the incompetence as I am in a part of L.A county that would never burn due to it being mostly concrete and nowhere near a forrest. Folks could have gotten into car accidents fleeing or gone feral in the stores. I thought to myself "no shit sherlock you made an error" to the government officials as it is obvious the fire would never reach here due to its terrain.

Is this whole mess intentional? I don't know the area well enough to know if it's just the wind spreading embers everywhere.
