Goodish episode. We learned that Kimbo was a nice guy, a good friend, a family man, a hard worker. Certainly tragic that he died young other than that, nothing "dark" there, didn't even skim the "fixing" allegations.Looking forward to the "War Machine" episode, that should be GREAT. Stages of darkness should be in that one! Should be shocking, grim and depressing! Another good one should be the two part," Rise and Fall of PRIDE".

Elite XC paid Seth Petruzelli extra before the fight to stand with Kimbo in their fight. That's where the "that's fucking illegal" Dana White meme originated from.

I can't remember all the details but I remember at the very least, Elite XC was investigated over it, closed up shop immediately after, and Gary Shaw went back to promoting boxing.

I love Vice's dark side series. Didn't even know this one was coming out! There's others like Dark Side of Comedy, Dark Side of the 90's and Dark Side of the 2000's. Highly recommend them all.
