His name is Andrew Bustamante...and I think it mighta been the old OG, but I've asked about him before as his situation is..."odd" to me.

The guy is supposedly ex-CIA. I don't know his story with the agency. He now is a full-blown internet marketer that has a metric FUCK-TON of products all with a CIA / spy "spin" to them...everything from teaching supposed spycraft to "spy" versions of self-development, financial literacy, and more.

Thing is, not *that* long ago (I'd say <2 years) the dude was nowhere. At least, not that I remember. But now, the dude is fucking EVERYWHERE.

He's (as in the OP) been on Lex's podcast. He's been on Tom Bilyeu's podcast. You know those GQ videos where they get a subject matter expert in to analyze clips from tv shows, movies, etc? He's done that. The "Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" tv show got a spinoff and he's one of the two main dudes on it.

How TF did this guy from leaving the agency and in seemingly a pretty short amount of time, build up the connections & street cred to be cast on network tv shows, be a guest on some of the biggest podcasts in the world, and is now seeming a "go to" talking head for any kinda CIA / govt / spy shit like this?

Who is this dude, who does he know, etc? Just seems fucking weird to me. Like why did *this* guy make it huge and none of the other who knows how many people that left the CIA the same time he did?

I've even seen some speculate he's a plant.

He's young, black, telegenic. Most of the others are middle-aged white guys. I was a bit surprised that guy like that who would stand out everywhere he goes could be a spy. But he's been on Shawn Ryan's show and podcasts with other SF guys you'd think have vetted him.

100%. There seems to be a circuit of podcasts that these guys do in a condensed period of time. It does feel odd and not quite organic.

I was thinking about it earlier, and I'd bet anything the only reason this dude hasn't been on JRE is because Rogan is buddies with Mike Baker & will just have him on if he wants someone like that.

I didn't realize he'd been on Shawn Ryan's show. Yeah, you'd think if he was on there, he'd have been vetted pretty thoroughly.

Something with the whole situation still seems off, though.

Iirc he was latino, pacific islander and white. He was in charge of nuclear missiles in the air force and ex CIA. his wife is also ex CIA she was a CIA targeter I'm guessing she was closer to guys like shawn ryan than he was. he was an analyst in the CIA.
