The two things that helped me the most were myofacial release (not fun and took months but I had years and years of scar tissue) and stretching focused on arching my back. Basically banned from any forward toe touch type stretching.

I still do one of Bryan Kest's power routines once a week, got to keep shit limber like a rubber band, if you don't then shit snaps from something simple as we get older.

He comes across as a pickle puffer but has great routines.

Ketosis/intermittent fasting, Low carb, or OMAD.
This is huge, I would add fasting as well to help with inflammation. I thought I was going to need rotator cuff surgery before I started my fasting routine. It would wake me up at night if I rolled over wrong. Haven't had a single feeling of impingement since I started adding fasting.

stretching worked best for me.

lying down on my back and seating stretches helped the most with pain
Initially I got the most relief from a chiro, now yoga/stretching keeps it in check
