I'm near the end of S4 when Smurf is dealing with cancer. I'm pretty sure she doesn't make it and I wanna say I've heard the show loses some steam after she passes.

I found this...

As Stranger Things 5 didn't complete filming until December 2024, new episodes probably won't be released until the second half of 2025

Cobra Kai has it's final season this year too...
