And it's frozen again, got down to -15 last night, my little electric heater couldn't overcome it

I'm going to add one of these out there to my heat circuit, should never be an issue again

they have those heaters that burn waist oil, lots of mechanics use them to heat their shop as they have access to so much free heating fuel with all the oil changes they do
Maybe recycle the cooking oil for free heat

Fucking day three of frozen pipes, thank god for pex tubing, I was smart in 2005 when we redid all the plumbing at least, otherwise I'd be fucked. Looks like we are getting sub zero temps again tonight. Going to add a bigger heater today.

Good idea

And all of us know exactly what that is. What kind of liberal pussy wouldn't, right?

But for the 3 on this site you should tell them, just so they can pretend to know what they're talking about
Ok Mr. Liberal, so think of it as a car radiator, you mount at the output of your boiler heater circuit, so before the hot water goes out to the rest of the building it will generate a heat source in the boiler room with a minimal impact on the rest of the building. Has a built in fan and can be controlled by a thermostat as well.

Obviously the liberals are other people...

But sounds similar in theory to a drain water heat recovery. Pretty cool

I've only seen a boiler in home alone

Great news, but holy hell at only 0. Fuck all that shit. It has been the mid twenties here. It has been absolutely miserable.

It is chilly here on the west coast too. I had to wear pants today, and I'm currently wearing socks. I hope I make it out of this bad weather we're having.
