Great danes are awesome, have a good friend that will only have them for a dog, sucks their lifespan is so short.

When I was a kid the lady across the street from my grandparents always had Danes. They'd just be chilling with their elbow on the 6' fence.
I used to feed them when she was out of town.
Intimidating to a wee lad but super cool, they could have destroyed me. They just hip checked me all the time, lol.
My best friend has a beautiful brindle named marbles, he's a big baby unless he is chilling on his bed in the back seat of the truck, then he turns into cujo if you approach him. All bark no bite though.
We've chased white tails in the back of a Z70-juan with 22s at each corner, at the ready. Can confirm. Fast fuckers. Dodge, duck, dive and dodge.
When I lived in Colorado there was an actual rabbit season, basically late fall/winter. Nothing more fun than going out on XC skis with a 22 looking for white on white. Fast, yes. But invisible when they don't move lol.
Rabbit city where I live now, surprised Rowdy hasn't handed me Juan yet. Roommates cat is a cold hard baby bunny killer though!
We just did it cause we were bored. We were hunting the elusive Jackalope. A jackrabbit with antlers. If there wasn't a couple white kids driving and in the front seat they'd accuse us of drive by shooting. Never shot at houses but the sheriff's always warned us about ricochets. We got bird shot peppered by a few pissed off yokels, though.
