I think they are going to have to go thru a lot of internals and replace a lot of stuff to have it run proper, sat waaaay too long.
Yep, anything rubber - especially any hoses and seals / gaskets that come into contact with fuel.

40+ years will have dry rotted the rubber to at least some degree, and none of it will be compatible with fuels containing ethanol. Fuel hoses, even if they don't leak, will disintegrate and block the fuel system in time.

NiteProwleR @NiteProwleR No need to tag my pst about the rubber parts needing to be replaced with "sad", the good news is that all those items will be service parts, and for a classic Corvette will almost certainly be available from somewhere, even if the manufacturer no longer sells them.

Someone's going to end up with a super nice classic 'vette. :)
