In the comics, first Punisher ends up becoming basically a full-on bad guy and taking over The Hand.

Some shit happens (I don't remember exactly what), but they end the character off by revealing that his wife is still alive, and has been alive this whole time. She hates Frank's guts, divorces him, and takes him for anything he's worth, going on a long emasculating diatribe about what a terrible person he is, she never really loved him, and other dumb shit like that.

It was essentially the activists posing as cominc writers intentionally undoing, denigrating, and overall shitting on anything & everything Punisher ever did or stood for...as well as was a thinly-veiled "fuck you" to the fans who loved the character.

I watched Black Panther in the lead up to Infinity War / End Game because I was still pretty hardcore MCU back then.

Had BP been the exact same movie in every single way (as in what you saw on the screen was the exact same), but it had been made by white people instead of a black crew, it'd have been called the most racist movie of its generation.

You've got supposedly the most technologically-proficient society on earth, and their warriors fight with spears. Almost exclusively African nomad styling. Leadership is determined by a form of tribal combat to the death. Power is obtained from drinking the equivalent of purple drank.
