Yeah, he's doing great work, but not sure what the deal is with his contract. Wasn't it supposed to end in Feb '25? Or did he finally re-sign?

Because the current set-up for his character would make it easy for them to do a "fired from WWE" angle for his antics in kayfabe if he ain't re-signing. And looks like they could be sending him off with some main events in that case.

But if he's re-signed, he could have a good heel run with the belt, and put Cody back in chasing mode.

But that CM Punk /Cody promo had me thinking they were setting up the "tired, exhausted Cody" angle for a program between them instead.
