i know some people that are starting to visit el salvador again (tourism) and they say gang members are scared shitless and trying to get their tattoos removed.

Gangs get power by having friends.. People are assets to them.. The idea they go around and mean mug everyone they run into is false.
They even do it with their enemies so they can get their guard down and lure them into more of a controlled situation to do what they gonna do.

Yeah probably not.. What would he have to gain by doing that.. I mean more that it's just in their nature to be friendly to everyone.. They just learn to naturally be like that because it benefits them.. Sometimes they're trying to exploit people but they're just so use to that it's their more common interactions..
Don't get me wrong there are absolute ruthless psychos who couldn't pretend to be someone's friend if they tried... But those people are just used by others to do stuff they don't want to do and they don't get very far.
I almost got sucked in and had one accident that kept me away from this one gang I was getting close with for a couple months then some crazy shit happened where they all turned on one of them and I was like wtf and just stayed away.. Probably saved my life.. But I never really realized how it all worked until many years later when I started reflecting back on it.
This doesn't even make sense because the u.s loves to make money off their prisoners it would actually benefit the folks running private prisons to incarcerate more illegals than to give them to el salvador. We would also have to fly out thousands of them out per day starting now until the end of trump's term the only way this would work is if J D vance is the next president and that assuming he doesn't turn RINO and not continue Trumps laws.
