REPORTED!
I actually sold it less than a year later, it was an old beat up .45 that had a ton of slop between the slide and frame. My next purchase was another "stolen" Bersa Thunder. A buddy of mine from the neighborhood's grandfather lived with them. He collected firearms. My buddy decided to borrow the Bersa for some target practice and being a retarded teenage stoner, he forgot to put it back in a timely manner so his grandfather reported it stolen. I bought it off him for $60. It was a piece of shit that would misfire often, thankfully.

One afternoon my friend Brad and I were in the woods on his property smoking pot and shooting at cans and bottles. Brad had the gun and it FTF'd or FTE'd and he had turned away from me and was dicking with it trying to clear the round and chamber another. He turned around when I started talking to him and the hammer dropped on a chambered(ish) round while the pistol was pointed at upper torso/throat. We both nearly shit our pants and were instantly sober. We put the gun back in its case and headed back to his house. My dad ended up finding it underneath the front seat of my car.

Google is showing nothing
I guess Staccato posted a promo video featuring Tim this morning that was intended to be funny. Got blasted so hard on social media that they yanked the ad campaign.

I can’t find the video right now. Staccato is claiming copyright infringement on anyone that posts it so that it’s unavailable.

Yet not finding it, seems blowback because of the accusations of stolen valor several weeks ago

Bodycam footage shows moment Florida officers' attempt to restrain suspect goes horribly wrong
Bodycam footage shows moment Florida officers' attempt to restrain suspect goes horribly wrong

Stringer drew her gun and began struggling with the man, ordering him to the ground as fellow officer Fabio Balanos arrived. Balanos ran toward the struggle, and Stringer accidentally fired, striking Balanos in his left leg.

Stringer’s body camera was not rolling at the time of the shooting, which was not directly recorded on Balanos' camera. But, moments later, a growing puddle of blood appeared beneath him.

“Why’d you do that?" the man can be heard asking as he is wrestled to the ground. "Ain’t nobody do nothing. You f---ed up his leg. He’s bleeding a lot."

Kennedy was let go from his USCCA position the other day and the torches are out for him. People saw him on the staccato vid and the internet got riled up, that post is damage control before it got out of hand.

Tim's name is mud in the gun community these days.

He was on a podcast and said gun control was the solution, then doubled down on it later.

He keeps finding new ways to be unpopular.

I thought it was because he was publicly stating things that were not true regarding his military experience.

Which podcast are you referring to? Do you have a link?

Can't recall, watched some other pod that showed the clips. Thought it was known around here that he was pro gun control. He's made those kind of comments a few times. The stolen valor stuff doesn't help but it's unrelated to this issue.

I believe these companies are distancing themselves from Tim K. because of all the controversy surrounding the claims in his book and his own personal statements; which includes awards for valor from his various deployments and being injured in combat but not having a purple heart on his record.

The Anti-hero podcast The Antihero Podcast really went after him and broke down some of his claims from his book and even brought in his former teammates and I think CO or team leader to refute his accounts. Tim's rebuttals were IMO pretty weak....mostly consisting of they're jealous and trying to capitalize on his fame for clicks and how he didn't have anyone in his chain of command to document his injuries BUT will get it all sorted out because he's bad at staying on top of that kind of stuff.

Dunno what the truth is but it's not looking good for Tim. He even claimed to have held an injured child in his arms all night long but one of his teammates on the Podcast said it wasn't Tim. If I remember correctly; it was the person recalling the event or another teammate that held the child and Tim never touched her.

Brent Tucker (SP?), former Delta is one of the co-hosts and the one who did the deep dive into Tim's book and contacted his former teammates and others. He's also gonna come out with another episode that covers the withdrawal from Afghanistan and Tim's involvement.

Brent previously went hard on Rob O'Neil's account of the Bin Laden raid and calls him a liar about shooting Bin Laden. That episode was interesting cause he brought some technical insight and questions, based on his experiences at Delta that most would not even know to think of or question.

There are some other podcasts that have also covered Tim's claims but they often also refer back to the Anti-hero podcast.

According to Brent, there are some in command that want to pull Tim's tab.

*Don't ask me list all of Tim's claims -- there's a lot. Read his book and if you're a vet/currently serving, some will stand out and be questionable. OR listen to the various Anti-hero episodes that specifically cover Tim.
