Female cows are absolutely slaughtered for beef. They make up almost half of the slaughter every year. My parent's neighbor has 10s of thousands of acres scattered throughout the Pee Dee and pretty much the only farming he does anymore is raising cattle for beef. Y'all do some weird shit where you live.
Out here the Earth is flat and jesus lives.

If you hunt deer elk bear or most mammals I’d imagine gutting and butchering is all the same

Going to any butcher knowing what cuts YOU want is helpful steaks roast ribs organ meat sausage burger
Butchering yourself can be an investment or hack/cut any muscle group into whatever works too

To me, no idea about a cow but I was taught with game, to help minimize the”gamey” taste and improve the taste
make sure all the silver skin membrane is removed from the meat along with all the sinu (sp) during butchering before it hits the freezer.

I don't have a direct answer but it's probably not going to taste as good as you're use to and you're going to freeze it on top of that too so also going to lower quality of end product.

So don't bother with any shittier steak cuts. Only the best cuts.

Has no impact really, has more to do with toughness of the meat

I can't accurately convey to you how wrong you are, there is no comparison to store bought versus 1 year old frozen at the bottom of the freezer. I made this comparison years ago about pork.

Idk
I’ve had venison, moose that was stored then cooked with the silver skin and sinu still on it it tasted horribly gamey and I’ve had it with the silver skin and sinu removed during butchering night and day difference in the taste

You can soak it in buttermilk to help remove the gamey taste.

I’ve heard the same but never tried it
I know some ppl in upstate ny where deer are a dime a dozen, they over use salt to minimize it and tenderizer imo they ruin that amazing taste esp the tenderloin easy to ruin such a great cut of venison

Any religion that can't eat bacon is a failed religion on its face.
This is why when Constantine replaced Diony-sus with Je-sus, he wrote specifically in Colossians 2:16 "thus ye shall be not condemned for chowing down bacon".

My buddy's maw used to make the best deer chops after a fresh kill. Marinade in Italian dressing. Batter then fry or grill.
