A bunch of my friends and family members will be receiving "I told you so's" due to these recent revelations. So many "conspiracy theories" end up being right on the money.
It's not crazy when you understand that money spent on those things actually gets paid to consulting companies or other structures that "provide" Those services.. Probably no one attends. Sure there's an event or something.. It's obscure for a reason.. The more obscure the less eyes on it.. None of these would have had any promotion attached to them as well.
It's all just basic money laundering.
It's great they're cutting it off.. But in these clear cut cases they need to start prosecuting people.
They need to do a few audits of connected people and trace them. Just pick a super obsecure line that makes no sense.. Find the org it got paid to and trace the people. You will find a connection.
Once you expose a couple of them, prosecute them and publicize it.. Let everyone know.. Then put a larger team on a longer term plan and go after them ALL. Fuck it. Burn it down.
