Ive recently tapped out early on severance and dexter, dont really give a shit what happens in either. Severance I only watched 1-2 eps. I will probably finish dexter but to me they wasted a huge opportunity with a solid first few eps.

I think I read that the breaking bad guy is making a new show, might just have to wait for that.

Severance is great.

I like the new Dexter too. I watched the kinda new Dexter (that I hadn't watched) and liked that as well for a standalone season.

Finally finished up Animal Kingdom.

I hated the series finale and it got so dumb that I almost turned it off.

I was cool with Jay double-crossing everyone for how his mom was treated. Honestly, I figured that's what was happeneing and seemed pretty predictable.

But him falling for the secretary and expecting this straight-laced chick to flee the country & turn to a life of crime with him was dumb. Mostly, him pulling this HUGE screwjob on his uncles, only for him to "yeah, I think I'll go home and hang out at the house all day" immediately afterward was stupid. And Pope makes his way from the desert all the way back home in Pitch Meeting, "super-easy, barely an inconvience" style was kinda laughable.

The dirty "tough" chick cop that outsmarted & dominated them was an eye-roll. And Pope being perfectly willing to confess to everything, yet then want to be broken out of jail? And how did he know about the whole GPS thing? Maybe I missed where he was told that part of the plan. Just seemed silly.

Justified is WAY too low on that list.
Also kind of odd that Yellowstone isn’t on there at all. Maybe I’ve simply gotten caught up in the hype but I’ve had the impression that it’s wildly popular. My grandson is a wrangler at a dude…er…guest ranch and he said it’s a booming business right now strictly because of that show and its spin-offs.

Friends being 35 places ahead of Justified is crazy-town.

And unless we're pretending there's only one season of True Detective, it shouldn't even be on the list. S1 was some best-ever tv. After that, though...yeesh.

Millennial list
I dont argue much with the content of it. The order of it changes based on who you ask. Breaking Bad at #1 is laughable for example, but whatever, its a good show. Quite a few Ive never heard of or seen. Battlestar Galactica is one that keeps coming up throughout my life as one to watch and I never do. Maybe thats a show for me at the mrs.

Some of those are miniseries. Band of Brothers and Chernobyl don't belong on that list. No one has GOT on their list after the last two seasons. The Bear? The Haunting of Hill House? True fucking Detective? Seinfeld has double digits of legit seasons. It trounces the Office which isn't a one hit wonder show like those three mentioned above.

You know I have rewatched GOT many times. The last two seasons, aside from some very questionable plot points, are still high quality. The key is that they are watched back to back. Them leaving for so long and coming back to a shortened season where then on top of it they made some bad story choices really compounded it.

Most of the story lines ended really well, except for Bran. I would have preferred Sansa on the throne, Bran as like big dick chief maester with Sam as his #1. Jon remains Lord Commander because he swore his life to it, it cannot be taken back. I think it would have been cool for Arya and Brienne to form a new type of Kingsguard, one that includes fighters like Arya. I would have kept Rickon alive and had him be the one who goes west of Westeros.

Started Defending Jacob last night, watched three episodes. Pretty good but way too much foreshadowing and I have a feeling they are going to drag this out way to long over the 8 episodes.

Finished defending jacob, wasn't bad overall but was pretty easy to figure out the final episode.

Started the bear last night, been resistive to watch it because I hate watching cooking shows as well as cop shows, it would be like niteprowler watching a show about tree cutting. 2 episodes in though it is pretty damn good.
