General Anyone else's community getting hammered with sickness

central IL here. It BAD right now. My wife and 7 year old son got it and were OUT. Son missed 4 days of school. I locked my wife in the room for like 72 hours. Somehow my daughter and I stayed healthy minus minor cold like symptoms. Most of our culdesac was sick last week.

Same. My wife's been in the bedroom for 3 days. I've been sleeping in a spare bedroom. Daughter works at a daycare, so she's around sick kids all the time. Hoping she doesnt get this shit because it put a hurting on my wife. She started Tamiflu yesterday.
I'm currently dealing with a case of bacterial pneumonia that started off as an ear infection. This happened to me a few years ago, too. I hope I don't get a pulmonary embolism, like I did last time. On top of that, I fell and smashed my head and ribs so I'm dealing with that, as well.

Son got some kind of stomach flu earlier this week. I’ve had two dispatchers call off sick for multiple shifts this week. One I had to send home. Shows up with an obvious fever, sweating, jacket on then off, hacking up a lung. All because he didn’t want to burn leave time. IDGAF about your leave time, GTFO of here with that shit.
fucking guy is pushing 60 & is like a child. Have a couple of these adult children (senior citizens) working here. Many times they’re very personable but horrible at their jobs.

i definitely had something last weekend and early part of this week. i initially thought i had food poisoning from some dirty pajeet not washing their hands but turns out my whole family ended up with the stomach flu .there is nothing quite as violating as shitting hot liquid lava while you puke in a bucket .oh well everybody needs a good purge of the system every now and again

Not taking a full course can lead to tweaking your response to the next one and make abx less likely to work in the future.
