My two kids have managed to take out everyone in both mine and my ex's immediate families over the last two weeks.

Kids going back to school has gotten me sick more times as an adult than anything & everything else combined. lmao
Should cut Christmas break to a week, spread the other days around. Would limit that

Also, I'm going to roast some garlic tomorrow. Sounds good

I woke up with a projectile vomit late December, nothing like it in my life, just one.
Then remained sick for first time since Sept. 2020 for over a week.
Still have to clear my lungs 20x a day after a month. This, like Covid, is not normal.

My daughter has been battling illness for over a week, she described throwing up after a strange pain around the lining of her stomach, and heavy cold since.

My other daughter released from hospital yesterday after blood tests showed a bacterial infection & IV antibiotics.

Kansas largest TB outbreak in U.S. history.
Georgia bird flu, no chickens or eggs.

Trump elected, weird fog, now this.
Something is up imo.

I had something a few weeks ago which had me spraying out my bottom in the toilet and holding a trash basket and vomiting into it. My stomach felt acidic/indigestion so I was pounding pepto. Then at the end when I was finally emptying out my stool was dark black so I'm thinking I had a serious problem with upper tract bleeding. The black just kept coming.

Then I found out for the first time that pepto does that, it causes black stool. I never knew that and think that should be put on the bottle to keep from freaking people out.

That sounds terrible...yeesh.

FWIW - dark-colored stool is typically associated with high protein...or at least, in relation to everything else you're eating.

So if you went on say a carnivore diet or the like, your stool is gonna get really dark. Black is typically not a good sign, though. (Mine was actually borderline black when I had my fucked up event a couple nights ago, but I was also pretty out of it, so I could absolutely be mistaken.) I've heard the pepto thing, but I was under the impression that it had to be a LOT.

Hope all is better now.

I had a sinus infection once that turned into an ear infection that turned into a throat infection that turned into a lung infection. Ended up with bacterial pneumonia and almost died.

Damn dude.

I’ve been sensitive to getting these since I started a job at MBPP back in January of ‘07. Everything was asbestos wrapped. You could shine a flashlight down a boiler ladder & see what looked like oily glitter floating everywhere. After an earthquake one year it looked like the boilers were snowing. Like magic though that place always “just” passed air quality particulate standards for asbestos.

Left that job in ‘12 & every year I get fewer & fewer sinus infections. This one is the first in the last year & wasn’t that bad. Saline flush 2x day & it’s pretty much gone after about 4 days.

you use a neti pot?

Personally I just hammer the 12 hour mucinex to keep it out of my lungs, been doing that for years and it passes quickly.

The only positive from Covid I can think of is finding out Multivitamins keep the cold away for me. Every year wrestled with flu season. Been good all this time.

I have something now on a work trip. Flew in and had a slight dry couch on the plane. about 24 hours later its fevernm chills, body ache, sinus pressure. nothing bad at all, annoying more than anything. a sickness that fels like a 5/10. Another 24 hours later (now) and im feeling better still. Id say im back to 7/10 for health.

Still though, if anyone is around to take a proper temperature it would be really appreciated.

Same here battled sinus and ear infections until I got pneumonia I had blood in my mucus then had to go to the emergency room to get an Xray they gave me some strong drugs erroneously it was some variant of activis so I was robotripping for the 10 days that I took them. I couldn't move from my bed and I was sweating buckets, non stop cough. This was in 2016
