Rush is fucking glorious and set a VERY high bar for this new F1 movie to match. The movie was good, but the real life story was incredible.

I'm not sure if the Senna movie has come out yet, but if they fuck that up (especially after the docu was so damn good), everyone involved should be tar & feathered.

Even if you're not a car guy / race fan, Rush is 1000% worth watching.

And if you're into older stuff (or just want to see old F1 footage), Gran Prix with James Garner is worth giving a look, as well.

Opie makes a damn good movie, but will sacrifice facts to make a story more interesting. The relationship as depicted in the movie strays from reality a bit, keeping the characters apart except for at the track, when in reality they hung out quite a bit and I think might have even been roomies for a time.
