Homeschool your children if you can. And smack your kid if they are using that filter.

View: https://twitter.com/teameffujoe/status/1890182171178258479

Location: Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island, New York,
Date: Wednesday, February 5, 2025,

Events: The teacher criticized Trump's executive order to release water in California to fight wildfires and labeled him a dictator. The situation escalated when a student, presumably pro-Trump, brought up politics in class, leading the teacher to launch into a rant. The teacher then verbally assaulted the student, calling him names like "punk a–" and threatened him with detention for speaking in class without permission.

We homeschooled years ago. Before all this insanity. Really kicked into high gear. Best thing we ever did. This is absolutely crazy.

I fucking wish we did. Wife wouldn't stay home, she "had" to work for her extra spending money.

That & she's not one to instruct well & I earn multiples of her income so couldn't afford for me to stay home & have her earn the income.

The funniest part is his rant was over him redirecting water to fight the fire. That's a true sign of derangement when it wasn't even an event that is even partially tangential to dictatorship.

Ya it's complex topic.. I loved school growing up.. It was just a fun social place where you hung out with your friends and goofed off all day. But of course our school was 99% white and zero lgbt staff members (that we knew of).

It's just a different world now.. I go back and forth on homeschooling.

I grew up going to a gang school where I was one of the few white kids. Wife went to all girls private schools.

Our son went to catholic schools until middle school where we pulled him due to the lockdown bs & sent him to charter school.

Not all private schools are the same or worth it. For K-8, there was only one school in Sacramento that could compare with the catholic school we were sending him to in Paso Robles but it was $35k/yr vs $8400/yr for the catholic school. Catholic schools in Sacramento are no different from public schools other than the people you rub shoulders with. Public schools in CA don’t support advanced or gifted kids (neither do catholic schools in Sacramento) and both will actively attempt to hold them back from advancing too far.

I’ve found that parents have the highest influence at charter schools in CA. Poor teachers get eliminated quickly & admin tends to listen & work with families instead of fight against them.

Social skills, who needs them?
Never been around homeschooled kids I see.

The most well rounded & some of the most successful & intelligent kids I’ve ever met have been homeschooled.

I’ve heard the stories about the weirdo homeschool kids but haven’t experienced it myself. I’m also in CA were plenty of weirdos exist. There’s also extensive support systems for homeschooling & the kids can play sports on the public schools teams. If they’re not interacting, it’s not due to homeschooling

I’m in Cali , but fortunately my kids go to the Walnut Valley district in Diamond Bar with mostly Asians. Don’t deal with much or any woke shit in this particular district

That’s good. Not the case in Sacramento

So social skills like you have. AKA none.
I just don’t like corresponding with delusional idiots who can’t process information & keep repeating the same misguided nonsense like a troll. If a lack of wanting to have my time wasted is considered poor social skills by the fuck face wasting my time, so be it.

So your kids lack social skills due to having you as their example. I already explained that I get that part.

These idiots video themselves because they're narcissists who think their opinions are so profound that they're going to start a movement or change the world. Then they promptly get fired, everyone laughs, and they're forgotten within 8 hours.

Where did my kids social skills come in? Since your reading comprehension is non existent I’ll reiterate. My kids went to private & charter schools. And no, they socialize far better than most.

Your inability to comprehend what you read is astounding.

You lack social skills, and your kids learned theirs from you. This conversation is going in circles due to your lack of social skills. You also seem to have issues with your wife due to her wanting to work.

The conversation went nowhere due to your inability to comprehend information presented to you.

My kids have zero social issues but if you want to keep making shit up & bringing them into this conversation I'd be happy to settle it with you offline. Making statements about me or users directly is fine, making comments about ones family is not acceptable.

You're the one that brought your kids and wife into the conversation.

If you'd like to "settle it offline", I live in Seattle so let me know when you get here. You clearly show your lack of social skills by taking an online conversation and turning it into a threat. That is not how adults solve problems, but if that is how you handle your life problems, I'm happy to accept. Just make the trip. You also mentioned multiple posts ago about not wasting your time yet kept engaging. Another great example of your excellent social skills.

Your wife sounds like the most sane person in your family. Maybe you should focus on having a better relationship with her and helping your kids out. Seek therapy and improve your life. I feel sorry for everyone around you.
