This is the snow mound next to my house. Yes, that is my roofline behind it.
That's crazy though!!
One winter when I was in Gunnison the snow banks were 20' in town, city was running out of places to put snow.
The giant snow banks down the middle of N/S E/W streets caused a ton of accidents, including one of my ambulances lol. You just couldn't see if anything was coming.
I lived in an old carriage house and my front door looked like you were going into a snow cave.

I had to shovel my roof today so that when there is a thaw I don't get an ice dam under the skylight.
When all that snow melts, the ground is going to be almost as saturated as your grandma's underpants when she sees a picture of me.
Probably rain from here on out in the PNW

All is quiet, snow starts around 3 maybe a foot, blizzard conditions. 30 to 60 minutes north already got several feet and several more expected!
Oh, and my TV broke and is dim on half the screen, was that you too!?!?!? C'mon, man!!!!
If it makes you feel any better, our power went out at noon. It's 53 and sunny here.
We have people without power here too, last night windchill was below zero!
I bought a brand new snowblower around Thanksgiving and have used it more this season than the old one in the past 3 years combined I think, winters have been unusually mild the last few years.
Figured with the new blower it would never snow again, at least I get to play with it. Other ones I had were hand me downs that never ran great.

Hopefully, all of those folks heat their homes with something other than electricity. I'm glad you got to use your new blower! You aren't kidding about buying a new tool and then never having a chance to use it. I bought a wood chipper and then moved into a house with no trees in the yard. I ended up giving it to my parents.
