People don't realise how important it is to have the right to bear firearms. Not even Americans.
( Short version).
Gun grabbing has been going on for so long, now the USA is pretty much the last place to hold them legally.
Unfortunately most Americans think the key to a secure country is a strong military ( brainwashing) .
We aren't living in the era of swords and arrows. A gun is the ultimate equaliser and with it no country, big or small will take over and occupy another that has an armed population and is proficient with them. There's no need to spend trillion or so a year on the military. Its nothing the public cant do for free.
I live in Australia. And I say America should not go to war, fund or supply any country that dose not allow it's citizens to own firearms.

America can't disarm it's own people. It will never happen. We will shoot the people that come for them, right in their fucking faces.
I'm dead serious, and a lot of law enforcement officers are fully aware of that fact. Many, even in Illinois of all places, have said they will not participate in or try to enforce any gun confiscations.
America isn't canada or anywhere else in the world. The right to own firearms is in our constitution. I am very pro law enforcement, they have to deal with societies biggest shitbags on a daily basis and are usually over worked and underpaid. But if any LEO comes to my door trying to confiscate my guns, several of them are going to get shot. Not that it would ever happen in Best Carolina.
Places like canada, england, austrialia, etc. are filled with people that have the mindset of subjects, not citizens. It's pathetic.
That's happened in Canada too. That's why they banned AR's 5 years ago and have collected 0.
