" You might try picking up a circuit tracer for this job, just keep the receipt and return it, but photocopy it for taxes."

I can't believe I've never heard of that technique. I wonder how many people do that regularly. Not the get something to use and return it, but the whole then also use the receipt for taxes.
Now here's something that's kind of f***** u* but I don't feel bad about.
My local brewery has a deal where if you buy a 6 pack of their home brew you can go to the tap room and get $1 pints of craft beer.
While the owner lives about 300 miles away in Tulsa and he just uses the brewery as a tax write off so he doesn't care if it loses the way it's set up.
They sell their craft beer at Walmart and some liquor stores.
One of the liquor stores has an old school receipt system but can print off multiple copies of the same receipt
So I buy a 6-pack and then ask them to make 2 duplicate receipts for tax purposes.
The tap room at the brewery collect the receipts and turn them in monthly.
So I rotate them and use the same one once every month.
The excess cash I spend I just tip the bartenders.
So everybody makes out.

I think I'm part Jewish.

Here's where we're at..

I've got to move 3 outlets to studs and bang in the blue boxes.
And add one down by those pipes under the window.

I found a "no job too big or small" local drywall guy who will do the mud & texture after I re-rock everything I end up cutting out, rates seem pretty reasonable for insured/guaranteed work.

As you can see, the outlets were just jammed into the drywall, poorly, during the last "remodel", lol.

And anyone got any idea wtf that big brick of an outlet is? The not working range was plugged into that.

Going to put new laminate in there, couldn't find a matching box to try and "patch" it in. Should be cheap and easy, 11x14 space w/no crazy cuts.

Here's some wacky shit.
See those sections of wafer board?

That wasn't actually wafer board, that was some kind of laminate roll product..
Who the fuck made that junk? & Who would buy it and slap it on a wall?

Shopping around for real estate was a hobby of mine when I lived in Montana. That looks like a potential money maker. What’s the sq footage and lot size?

850sf, not sure of exact lot size. Not big.
Plan is to put a 3 car garage off the alley behind the house.

I got it pretty cheap, I think I'll come close to doubling my money when I'm done if I sell. Would be a great rental. Quiet tucked away neighborhood but real close to downtown and all the restaurants and bars.
