and why wouldn't they? Whether it's by the rallying LPC or PP, they're going to get lit on fire next election.
I wouldn't go as far a to call it a scam.
It was a huge bungle with virtue signaling gone horribly wrong and no one willing to step up and say anything for fear of being cancelled, and first nations looking to take full advantage of the situation.
To me, scam implies planning and this gov't can barely figure out how to tie its own shoes.

mean while the CAF has very few operational vehicles , last time the troops shipped out to Mali they didnt even have enough rucksacks and bivies . MEC and Canadian Tire donated gear so our troops could deploy. when we sent troops to afghanistan we had to catch a ride on and american ship because we had no way to transport our own troops. we gave almost all of our artillery to ukraine 3 years ago and it was blown up almost immediately. the state of the Canadian Armed Forces is dismal and the priority of the government has been to put tampons in the mens room.......BUT we have 5 billion more dollars to send to ukraine .....while there are on going peace talks and the war is most likely about to end. this is a last gift to zelinsky by trudeau on his way out the door as zelensky is most likely on his way out the door as well
Some of Larry Johnson's ex CIA buddies have discovered billons of Ukraine funds diverted to banks in the Carribean. One of them filed a whistleblower complaint about 48 billion dollars that has been stolen out of Ukraine. Zelensky's regime is going to be in big trouble.
i hope freeland brings it up . she has to feel backstabbed by the party after years of being groomed to take over from justin
