it was a german shepard .it aint gonna starve with 2 bodies in the house
Now they are saying it was NOT a gas leak and that there were pills found all over the floor and that the wife was dead before Gene was.

He stopped doing movies and was never really seen again, on purpose of course.
I like that he didn't try to milk $$$ out of movies he wasn't invested in and disappeared, not an attention whore.
i just read that they found the wifes mummified corpse
he would have been able to live like a king off of residual checks not to mention what he had made during his career .he had a net worth of 80 mil . it always sucks to see former stars making straight to video B movies later in their career like travolta or deniro . they obviously dont need the money but they just cant let it go
He was an old guy when I was a kid. Definitely part of the "the hell, he was still alive?!" group.

Or, to be honest ... old couples get weird and start kinda living in their own world anyway sometimes. Ultrawealty artissts are evenmore likelyto to weid shit/have weird patternsof life. He literally could have been just stumbling around in the basement for a couple days like Biden (95) or he could have been taking a break from her crazy in the guest house for a few, came back to it. They said he's been writing novels since leaving film, maybe he had a cabin or studio on the property and was just doing his own thing for a few days. Who knows.
