Wrapped up Narcos: Mexico. So damn good and I actually liked it more than the first one. Wish it had more seasons to touch on what happened with the cartels afterwards...Just finished watching it and it definitely lived up to the hype. Can't believe I waited so long to watch it but I was late to the game on Breaking Bad as well lol. Gonna start the Mexico one maybe tomorrow...

I have no problem with narcos mexico it was the original narcos that was poorly made with the absence of Medellin accents and bad Spanish speaking because wagner moura admitted that he couldn't even speak spanish and just did it phonetically.@Jesus X hates this series

So I've watched the first two episodes of Suits LA...not sure what I think.
I've started watching the original Suits since then and even though I'm only a few episodes in, the original is fantastic - I love it. Stephen Amell's character is definitely no Harvey Spector, though. And it's got a lot of the typical shit - every woman is smart or badass or quircky. Pretty much all the chicks get over on the men. Every conceivable type of person is "represented", etc.
Sometimes that shit can be overlooked if the story, acting, plot, etc are good and the bullshit doesn't overpower it. So far, at least to me, the story, plot, etc aren't enough to distract from "Oh, OF COURSE Stephen Amell is supposed to be the top guy of his firm but just got outsmarted by all these people and his black investigator is calling him out for being a dick and the pretty female pro-bono attorney renting space in his building emasculates him at every turn..."
The relationship between him and his mentally handicapped brother is really nice, though.
I also watched the first two episodes of Daredevil Born Again last night.
Not sure what I think about that, either.
The diner scene with Fisk & Murdock (part was shown in the trailer) was really good. Some of the effects early on were *not* good. There's a pretty big shock early on. There's a bit of the same kinda bullshit I described in Suits LA here, but on a much lower level. There's a couple elements they've done with Fisk that make me think "are you fucking kidding me?", but I'm willing to give it another episode or two to see if they turn it around or are setting something up.
As I mentioned in a previous post, D'Onofrio's Fisk in Netflix DD was fucking *outstanding*, but Disney already bitched him out once in that dipshit Echo show, so I'm hoping it's not happening again.
