red is trudeau .blue is conservative. orange is gay . the vast majority of the orange area is empty nothingness and small indian towns who rely on govt handouts . sp what you have is the population centers such as toronto, montreal, vancouver support trudeau . we have no electoral college so that is enough to win him the election . i live in BC and only 1 time in my entire life has the election not been decided before the polls close in the west

there are enough seats in ontario and quebec to ensure a majority government without even counting votes from the rest of the country . that is why canadian politicians suck dick to quebec so bad . quebec has as many seats in parliament as the 4 western provinces combined (its done by population) . 1741456098263.png

this is also why there is an east / west divide in canada . this plus equalization payments . the have provinces are required to give money to the have not provinces . the resource rich west sends money to quebec so it can be a socialist paradise on our dime and we get nothing but spite in return 1741456396046.png

not only are they not ashamed they are entitled and smug about it . they are fine with taking money from the west but will absolutely not allow a pipeline to cross their province so canada can export oil on the eastern seaboard

Problem with that is you'd destroy most of America too.

Believe it or not most of it could be fixed by adjusting border boundaries. The riding I'm in was always conservative until they gerrymandered the fuck out of Ottawa
