Today, we have a pair of hand-forged Tanto. A matching pair made from 52100 bearing steel and handled with genuine samegawa(stingray skin) on the underlayment.
Both sport genuine ito cord expertly tsukamaki wrapped by my wife. 550 paracord Turkshead guards keep the fingers off the blades. The whole handle has been impregnated with epoxy for a permanent fit.
Each has a hand-forged and polished menuki made from copper to accent the handles.
