I saw I saw that Kash Patel has hired private security, reportedly former special ops, because he doesn't trust the agents the FBI provided to him.
I was just thinking about what kind of security detail he had when he was sitting with Mel Gibson at UFC 313 the other night.

The CIA has always been a problem. But I wonder what happened to the FBI. They were always the blue-collar guys who graduated state colleges and spent some time as enlisted in the military or beat cops on local force or both before joining the FBI, as opposed to the CIA, which tended to recruit straight out of elite colleges or politically connected people (Anderson Cooper) and from the children of immigrants.
