horror movies scare me
Lol, opposite for me. I wish I could enjoy them but I find 99% laughably stupid. I can enjoy really old timey black and white stuff, and "modern" things like silence of the lambs, seven, and bone tomahawk. But shit like the ring and such bores the shit out of me.

I remember wanting to like Blair witch but just laughed all the way through, never saw a scary part just predictable silliness.

The good ones to me are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously. I enjoyed “The Cabin in the Woods” because it messed with the formula. That Cloverfield movie with John Goodman was good too.

Finally got around to watching “Old Henry”. Kind of predictable but well done. I enjoyed it. Wouldn’t put it on a favorites list but would definitely recommend to fans of the genre.

will have to watch that later
The beginning(first act) is great, worth a watch even if you don't do the whole movie. Kind of felt ahead of its time. The actor is great, apparently he only did one or two movies.

It's funny, this popped up in my feed:

Pulled it up thinking, what the hell, Benny Urquidez was in a western?! Love the setting, and reading about the plot, I'll have to hunt this one down. Never gave westerns much attention, just associated them with corny John Wayne shit. Thinking that's about to change.
