I've seen multiple videos of people that traveled to Russia, got transferred there for work, etc. And they've all echoed this, saying how warm, nice, & helpful the vast majority of people are.

Was there for 2 weeks in 2010. Moscow a couple days. Chelyabinsk the rest. Russians were normal. Nothing like the charicature villains of western movies

same, my uncle worked there for years, personally I think he was CIA but he would never admit it. He was a mechanical/aerospace engineer that designed fish hatcheries. That was his cover, I say bullshit.

I've beeeeeeeen there. They are incredibly hospitable. They won't smile or say high unless they know you, but if you approach them, they are very polite and genuine.
