Health insurance should be ashamed. A terrible system holding the American People hostage.

Stud. Seriously, almost nobody could have survived that.

His job is to eat and rehab now.
Eat anything he wants and train every day... a wrestlers dream :)

None of us would have survived what he went thru. That’s almost guaranteed. His years of wrestling, and the shape he was in, pushed his body thru it. Then there’s just pure grit & the will to live, and apparently he had that in spades.

This picture was taken a week and a half before he checked into the hospital... The Stud that I coach Tylin Thrine, Who is 125-2 and his natural weight class his first 3 years of high school in a state champ two time third place Medalist.. He was wrestling one of Bens AWA stud wrestlers who's a state champion as well.. My guy came out on top but I couldn't help but notice Ben wasn't worried about the cess pool of hell no that he was trampling through... I said that it got it on his upper lip and then it got up into his nose and into his sinuses and respiratory which obviously ruined those lungs.. I'm not a rocket scientist but I know for a fact this couldn't helped the cause..

Interesting. Wonder if anyone else got staph from that event?

Not uncommon. Most people would still be in the hospital anyway because stuff like this happens.

As an organ recipient they are extremely invested in him and his recovery, he's getting the best care possible.

He sounded great.
It sure doesn't make me feel confident.
I don't have a lot of experience with these things so I trust you're right.

I said about page or 2 ago that he's not out of the woods and won't ever really be. Its very early days all things considered.

Hes in good hands getting the right drugs. With everything he's been through it comes down to whether his body responds or reacts to the antibiotics.

But, like I said, he sounded very good and this stay could be as simple as his white count was slightly higher than they'd like. It was a routine follow up, not a rushed to the hospital situation.

I didn't realize staph can fook you up this bad. Especially someone as healthy as Ben. Makes me never want to train again
