I couldn't find his pay for the Fox card but the guy usually makes over 200k a fight. Would he be better off getting real sponsors? yeah sure.
I know Overeem would be making a lot more with sponsorship money but to say he's risking his life for 5k is a little ridiculous.

I think someone said that was the last fight on Reem's contract. I hope he goes over to Bellator where he can make sponsorship dollars and not the the stringent testing. Maybe he could get Fedor early 2016.

Overeem made 5k? Junior 10k? What the fuck? I'll give these guys that much to do the rematch in my backyard if they're in.

Ya, Junior suprised me with this one. After being the HW Champion for quite sometime you'd think Reebok would at least pay the "title challenger" monies to ex Champs for the duration which I believe is 30k. Only seems fair when most ex Champions are going to be much more beneficial to Reebok selling their gear than mid tier fighters who have been with the UFC for a longer time. especially Champions who have defended the title.

Hey... it'll bite the UFC in the ass when all these guys choose to head into Free Agency and all of a sudden Bellator has more depth on it's roster than the UFC!

if I were in Reebok shoes I would have demanded the UFC retitle the payouts too. I wouldnt want my brand associated with those meager figures.

$200k to advertise to 2 million plus people on fucking fox on a prime time saturday spot?!?! Former champions like Junior getting 5k. Reebok has gotten nothing but bad PR from all of this and I cant imagine they ve made shit off the deal. The unscrupulous fans who dont care enough about the sport as a whole to boycott Reebok out of principle likely arent buying their merch anyway on account of the several obvious and frequently griped about factors.

I imagine Reeebok isnt happy with the way the deal is working out either ( which is entirely their fault btw ) but yeah, I imagine they want to disassociate themselves from things like this anyway they can.

Athlete Outfitting? They should just be honest and call it Athlete Fucking pay.

I know you were making 100k with sponsors, but here's 2k for your trouble.

I call that getting fucked.

How does that even happen? Overeem 5k and JDS 10k? Isnt it supposed to be amount of fights in the UFC or something? Both are not new by any stretch of the imagination.

Can somebody educate me on the formula again pls? Thx.

And I think both probably hit six figures in sponsorship money before.

They should call it 'Assault with a Friendly Weapon", since the fighters are getting raped.

Reebok needs to start making pillows so the fighters have something to bite down on and cry into as they're getting plowed.

Well, Reem is now officially a free agent, and is able to test the market. Would be a better pickup for Rizin to fight Fedor than goddamn Jaideep
