Conor should never be doubted again. His attack isn't just in the Octagon but also in the mental game. I am sure RDA likes Aldo and seeing him get starched like that has to have him thinking. I would happily put $$ on Conor.
I agree. When they sign a fight with Conor, it all starts right there. No rest, all pressure. If it happened to Aldo, it can happen to RDA.

Also, Conors ability to fight while backing up, and his counter punches should absolutely be a nightmare for RDA.

All depends on how much speed and power he can retain, from what I've seen it's Conor's ability to stay calm in the exchanges and pick his shot, as much as I hate to admit, his counter on Aldo was as close to perfect as I've seen in the cage but all that won't mean shit if he can't hurt RDA (power doesn't translate), Hafa is a little bigger than Aldo.

IF Conor can keep it standing he has a good chance, if not, he'll be ground to paste.

Nate Diaz is the fight I want anyway, for the record.

There's several comments made to the effect of a 27lb weight cut for Conor.

Dos anjos walks around at 195ish but I don't know his fight weight.
I saw dos anjos at a glory kickboxing event and the guy is massive. It's shocking he fights at 55.

Just tangentially, I'm 6'3 and 195ish

I met Cerrone and was shocked I only had about an inch on him and our frames were so similar. I might have had 10 lbs on him at most....probably all legs.

These weight classes fuck up any usual references as have.

Before RDA took it to Donald the Conor camp was talking of lightweight but I am not hearing those noises now.

It would be nice to have a duel division champion rocking akimbo belts so long they can both be defended at least twice a year so as to not hold up each weight classes contenders and keep the rankings rotating.

Conor is already way more active than RDA and Aldo were, if he has two belts I cant see much changing.

It is only a matter of time before RDA pops for something. As long as that Jeff dude isn't stupid.

He's done four in 15 months, coulda been 5 if the first Aldo went down.
Chad stepped in on two weeks notice so it stays at 4, still quite a feat, let's hope he can maintain it, the UFC depends on him to really sell the fight and that's got to be exhausting.

LOL oh ye that's right, well they should have given him Uriah on the Dublin card, like he asked, that'd be 5. :)

^^^ Dublin card had nothing on UFC 193 for card of the year.

193 may even have been the GOAT MMA card, if we look only at the last five main card fights.

Someone please explain to me the logic behind thinking Conor's KO prowess won't translate to 155? Ten pounds don't mean squat when your exploits are based on precision over power and timing over speed.

I'm sure some of you will discount him as "not UFC caliber" (and you'd be wrong) but look at what Conor did to Ivan Buchinger to win the CWFC 155 belt.

Unless your irish that's a bit of a push lol

Amazing card for sure, I would have to sit down and really go back for this year to say 100%.

Someone should do that thread best card of 2015 and get people's opinions.
I am, and I was definitely being sarcastic.

Please don't make unsubstantiated PED use claims. Thanks
Not even necessarily anything performance enhancing.

His physique is noticeably different though. His muscles look full even when depleted.

What effect does clenbuterol have?

It strips bodyfat. So does hard dieting.

Compared to when? When he first entered mma?

Jon Jones is looking jacked now too, with a different focused training regimen.

Usada Dos anjos looks as good as ever.

A lean professional athlete under 200 lbs doesn't strike me as immediately suspicious.
