Society Nova Scotia has now banned citizens from the woods

Then imported a bunch of loyalists brits who begged to be part of canada. Any testosterone was quickly bred out.
They were called United Empire Loyalists. They built several towns in southern Quebec, and the French pushed them out. All the street names and everything are English but no one speaks a lick of it.

If they are like many of the fires in the states, arson is a leading cause.

And while I am generally against arsonists, someone should burn down the government building that this rule originated from.
The main cause of forest fires is lightning with arson coming in a strong second. Human caused by accident is a very small percentage

I think Arson should be a very very heavily punished crime

Not sure if it is

I think in Oregon we had a crazy dry year 2020? and some dumbs shits were trying to literally burn the state/country down starting fires all over, political activists/arsonists?. I don't know what their punishment was, but I bet I would consider it too light.

FYI I'm really stoned now, so forgive the grammar issues.

That's a draconian fine.
Absolutely.25k is the maximum fine possible. This guy just went for a walk in the woods. The maximum fine should be reserved for someone caught starting fires. I am no fan of Jeff everly and he has me blocked on Twitter but it simply is overkill.the government is sending a message by punishing him to the fullest extent of the law. I am not sure if the provincial government even has the power to do this but in Canada there is no real recourse.the supreme Court backs the government 100% of the time and there are no real opposition parties
