Him and Paige. They sort of set a precedent with those 40/40 contracts, and pissed a lot of fighters off in the process. They're either going to have to increase pay for the bottom 50% of the roster, or watch more and more fighters leave for free agency.

You buy too much into what the UFC is selling. Not too long ago, the guys who are now champion in their top 4 divisions weren't in the UFC at all.

At the time, people would have claimed Werdum couldn't hang with UFC HW's, Rockhold hasn't fought anyone and Lawler was past his prime and didn't last in the UFC his first go round.

He's not buying into anything. He's taking the opposing position, in an attempt to get people to lose their shit. He does this every now and then, so you must be on your toes. Have your senses on high alert.

Last I checked Werdum, Lawler and Rockhold were in the UFC. It doesn't matter where they came from. The UFC wants the best fighters flying their banner and that's why those fighters were signed.
