Shortly following Fedor's three-minute victory against Singh, Muhammed Lawal took part in his second fight of the night, and third in three days. Lawal lived up to his status as the tournament favorite and eventually knocked out fellow finalist Jiri Prochazka to claim the Rizin 100kg World Grand Prix championship.

During the post-fight press conference, ‘King Mo' was asked whether he would be interested in a match-up against Fedor Emelianenko over the coming months.

"Anything is possible," King Mo said at the post-fight press conference. "Fedor's a legend. If [Rizin] offered the fight and he wanted to fight me, I wouldn't say no. I'm not the one to call out Fedor and say I want to fight him. I'd love to but he is a legend and I have to show him respect. But if I was offered the fight, for the people of Japan, I'd gladly do it."

King Mo is awesome. I'd love to see this fight.

If not, I think Mo has earned a title shot for Bellator in whichever division he wants, LHW or HW

I like King Mo but he will get prison raped if this fight happens.

Hard not to be a king mo fan after seeing him win three fights within three days and two by ko. That being said I remember this dude popping for steroids after the Larkin fight (derailed his career imo) so him fighting in Japan I wouldn't be surprised if he was roided out.

I think King Mo has a speed and strength advantage. I still think Fedor by armbar late in the first rd though.

King Mo is a legit MMA fighter who isn't well past his prime, there's no way in hell Fedor takes this fight.

What concerns you about it (from Fedors perspective)?
If we were talking about prime Fedor I wouldn't be worried one bit. At this stage the problem is we don't know. And it's not like we drew safe conclusions after the Singh fight. He threw a few trademark whirling dervish hooks like he used to but apart from that it was throw down + ground and pound against a guy with zero ground experience.

That's why as a fan, I'm concerned about him fighting someone who's been knocking skilled mma guys out and is a beast in wrestling, because I don't know. Fedor and his team know at what stage he is at, so I'm sure they will make the decision that is best for him. Since I don't know, as a fan, I would rather see him take a fight first against someone else who is not as harmless as Singh but not as dangerous as King Mo, and then fight someone like King Mo or an even better athlete.

If Newton could KO, King Mo... then I don't see how Fedor could not do that either or sub him.

Fedor possesses more ways to win.

But thumbs up to King Mo in the way he handled that question. I didn't like his showboating in the ring, but his reply was more than classy enough to make up for it.

Yup. I was surprised to.
Especially since he was anything but to Tito....
