Irelands beautiful I went once.
Depends the south central area is a big ass peat desert cause they scrape it back to fire power stations, horizon to horizon chocolate brown peat. But where I am is all old trees and ting cause it's shit farmland.

What does workaway mean?
Volunteer for accommodation swap site, pretty cool you meet good peoples. You just have to pick the right hosts, you don't want to "spend your evening in song and dance communally praising the creator" or anything retarded but there is good people on there.
Workaway.info the site for free work exchange. Gap year volunteer for food and accommodation whilst travelling abroad.

They are oil sands damn you. Hard bitumen not oozing tar! Manitoba only has one oil field and it is a tradition drilling operation. Saskatchewan does have a good sized patch of oil sands.
You can't be a hillbilly if there are no hills.
Winnipeg and Regina are shit stains of cities with massive problems with native gangs and endemic poverty on the reservations within their borders. Nothing good happening in them. Saskatoon is ok but small and boring. Outside of those three cities it's mostly wheat fields and the smell of pig shit.
