A what?? is that like a job service who will find you work?
They are hired by companies to fill positions. So how it's working for me is this.
I was referred to this recruiter by a friend. She works for a company that deals with tech jobs, sys Admins, network engineers, developers etc. I sent her my resume and then had a 30 min conversation. After that she looked at my skills and filled me in on 2 things. 1 I am extremely underpaid (not a huge deal to me due to the environment I get to work in) and apparently I am under selling my skills set by alot. She then sent me some sample resumes and had me give her all the info of what I do and she's going to redo my whole resume to actually give a better picture of what my skills are. She then goes to her clients that she thinks I'd be a good fit for and gives them all my info, resume, her personal opinion on me etc.
When it's all said and done, should I choose to leave the company I'm at now, I'm looking at a $15,000 to $20,000 a year raise. And the best thing, I don't pay her anything, the companies that she recruits for pays everything for her services. It's like a job placement service on steroids.

That is BAD ASS!!! I guess in the end the company paying for the services gets really high quality employees and the increased production/efficiency pays for itself. Good luck man, hope she brings back some great choices for you

Dirty Dancing is a national treasure.

Tight black jeans and wife-beaters. Button shirts with rolled up sleeves and unbuttoned to show off lots of chest. That's style, baby! One I try to emulate in 2016
