Only poor people still live where it snows
Upstate SC here, we got (are are still getting a little) freezing rain and sleet. Maybe 1/2 an inch. Secondary roads are all ice, interstates slush and icy spots. Everything in the small towns around here are shut down, and there is very little traffic on the secondary roads. I passed about five vehicles in 30 miles of driving from work to a BJJ seminar and home. If you want to buy milk or bread, you are probably out of luck- most supermarkets were picked clean of both yesterday
About 8" on the ground here in Louisville. Shoveled the driveway around 2pm and it had another 2"-3" on it when we got back from my inlaws about 30 minutes ago.
Daughter wanted to ride sleds today, so I took her out. We couldn't last more than 15-20 minutes because 25-30 mph winds were blowing snow sideways on us. Just took a hot ass shower, fixed a bowl of soup. and gonna hunker in for the rest of the weekend.

Holy shit. We haven't had our snow yet in NYC but it's supposed to really start at 4AM.
We're supposed to get up to 18"......crazy.....

this is the biggest storm to hit here london, ky in 12 or 13 years. town is shut down, and no driving is allowed. i went out back to smoke a bowl wearing shoes, shorts, a hoodie, and hat. i stepped in a drift that was six inches deep. i laughed. these people need to train in Michigan.

Sideways snow too. Wife wanted to be whimsical and go out there so she went to get something at the store.

how much did you get so far? we have up to a foot (or 0.3048 meters for the cool foreigners) in the yard, and its not snowing much now.
The snow stopped here about 9pm last night. We probably have 8" total on the ground. So much for that El Nino winter huh?
lol that is called 30 cm in metric.thats a pretty good dump of snow in one storm
