The dick tuck would be more epic than Gilgamesh.
And not even convincing anyone, including himself. When you use a lot of words, and then pretend you could'nt care less, it is over. The only thing that could've avoided this backfire is him accepting the challenge to fight Penn. It was Conoresque for sure, but Conor 100% believes in his own words, and has been able to back them up by results, but also by numbers.
Lack of charsima, lack of notoriety, didn't help Lentz either. I realize Penn started this "fued" but he finished it as well. The only thing Lentz could've done is accept the fight now that he decided to campaign publicly against Penn.
Then the points he brings up, about being relevant or not. In 5 years I will still remember BJ Penn, but I will have forgotten the fighter that is Nick Lentz.

Basically everybody who is not living in their home country anymore would be a traitor in that regard. I'm pretty sure the Irish people in the US that are cheering for him should understand what he is saying here.
And then he said he is a fan of Holly because of her Irish blood, right? Lets say Holly would be his opponent, then he would probably go at her with smearing her ancestors as traitors.

According to Conor's logic, I am a traitor as well. But I still find it hilarious and he executes it well. And yeah, I don't believe he actually believes that. That said though, Conor is ready to pull the trigger when he flashes his verbal arsenal and delivers a well received intensity to these fights.

All I got out of that is, "I'm afraid of losing to a washed-up fighter". He yakked and yakked about the reasons for no the first time, BJ met them, and now he's firing off more sad excuses. He could have simply typed, "Sorry, bro. I'm afraid and I need the ability to time my cycle for a different event. ATT4LYFE"
If Lentz doesn't accept, we need to create a list of best ducks in MMA history, and throw this on it.
