The snow stopped here about 9pm last night. We probably have 8" total on the ground. So much for that El Nino winter huh? :)
yep yep. its beautiful outside, but this town needs the right equipment and training, to deal with snow. my girlfriend's been stuck in a hotel since it started, and she's only 5 miles away, max.

fixed
maybe your road crew is more used to that amount of snow.
Yeah, we've got a pretty good city dept here. I live a bit out in the country, so the roads out here aren't the greatest, but the roads in town are good (or were last night anyway).

that's good, but be safe. i think its going to get very slick out tonight, once the cold hits any slush.

I'm in upper Minnesota. We haven't had a blizzard in 4 years. We barely had any snow at all last year. This year there's about a foot on the ground from just light snowy days. I posted a pic on the current view thread of my boy and his buds sliding I will stick it in here. Hey Wild @Wild the kids up here love to slide.

My boy Alex in the middle. He's 6.

All we got was about two inches of snow and a lot of ice, I was hoping for a big one

Looks like you took that pic inside a sunbed.
I use an app on my phone to add or pull red to the screen so it's not as hard on your eyes at night etc. I use a similar program on my pc.
