Oh, hey look at this American pretending the no accent zone spreads far enough to cover where he lives. He also pretends to know everything abowt how Canadians speak.

Yeah, it does spread to south Florida.

Maybe you should have done your research?

What if I told you that South Florida at any given time has a population largely made up of people from areas where there are most definitely accents? That map also 1) Isn't correct 2) Groups states in different categories than your previous post did. There's a reason why pre-outsourcing Omaha was the call center capital of the world.

Want to take some time and do some research?

I would say that you're correct, but the native population (like me) has a neutral accent.

No.

Again, the native South Floridian population has a neutral accent, which makes me right.
No, because again. 1) Your map is incorrect. 2) It contradicts your previous claims.

Serious question, how long did you have to look to find a map that included Florida? Care to link the article?

None of them. If you're prejudiced about a person's accent, you're probably a silly little bitch with too many first world problems.

Here's a better map:

Have you ever even been to Florida or are you just talking out of your ass?

Lol. You're aware that the midwest accent is the one considered to be Accent-neutral, right?

"In American English, there IS a neutral accent called General American. Wikipedia states that "General American is perceived by most Americans to be 'accent-less', meaning a person who speaks in such a manner does not appear to be from anywhere."

While General American is not restricted to any one region in the United States, it is most commonly spoken in the Midland region. As such, the terms Midland accent and General American are often used synonymously. The Midland region covers parts of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Ohio."

and yes, I spent a better part of 3 years in different places on the east coast.

Midland, not midwest. Reading comprehension. If you were American, you would know that a Midwest accent is far from neutral.

But you're not. You're a know-it-all talking about shit about which you know nothing.
