I think it's easy to pile on Edmund because he courted controversy by becoming boxing coach to a fighter who obviously didn't have a feel for striking and then indulged in the kind of hyperbole everyone behind Ronda was pushing.

Bottom line is a lot of gyms go bankrupt. It's a rough business to sustain. I suspect his delicensing is tied to misrepresenting some assets on his corner application.

My sense is Edmund is an average boxer who lucked into a great training opportunity and rode it for all it was worth, but he was never a great businessman and maybe not even the best coach.
