Dogs are awesome. What kind are you getting? Petting puppies is the best stress reliever in the world.
Good looking dogsWe are going to look at two litters. Queensland Healer and the other is Queensland Healer/Collie mix.
Good choices. Just remember that any herding dog is really, really smart and keeping them mentally occupied and giving them consistent boundaries is a must.We are going to look at two litters. Queensland Healer and the other is Queensland Healer/Collie mix.
So they are like kids? I have a lab that needs the same thing.Good choices. Just remember that any herding dog is really, really smart and keeping them mentally occupied and giving them consistent boundaries is a must.
My wife works in child education, and "Like a toddler" is exactly how she describes her. Ours is a lab/border collie and I'd get another in a heartbeat. She seems to have the best attributes of both breeds. As I type this she's standing at the top of the stairs throwing her Kong down them because she figured out that's the easiest way to get the contents out.So they are like kids? I wonder if the temperament of the QH/BC mix would be better for children. My kids are older, 12 and 9 but i still worry about it.

I remember her form the dog thread. Sweet girl.Thats what I was thinking. We are going to see the litter of Queensland Heelers first, the the QH/Collie mix. This will be our 2nd dog. That will make it 2 dogs, 1 cat, a lizard, 2 hermit crabs and 3 fish tanks. Here is my Jasmine.

Bring her to meet the puppy before you commit to bringing it home. To be honest, it's neglectful not to.She is, she really is. She hasnt been around other dogs much. I hope she will be ok to the new puppy. She gets along with the cat but we got the cat first. She is very much part of the family and very weary of anything that isnt.
That would be hard. We are already headed home with him . Little guy is so cute. I will post pics when I get home.Bring her to meet the puppy before you commit to bringing it home. To be honest, it's neglectful not to.
Can't name without a picture, and expected size.I need help with names. I wanna name him after a fighter. BJ? Fedor? Connor?
