Since making the switch to Bellator MMA, Benson Henerson says his phone has been bombarded with texts and phone calls from UFC fighters asking for advice. The 32-year-old spoke to MMA Junkieabout it on Thursday.

"I can't even say how many texts and calls from other fighters asking me, ‘What did the UFC bring to the table? What did Bellator bring to the table? How did they treat you? Was (UFC Chairman) Lorenzo (Fertitta) mad? Did Dana get all mad?'" Henderson said. "A ton of fighters hit me up and asked me that and asked for advice."

I just hope Bendo holds to his guns about organizing, even if he does find conditions more favorable in Bellator.

I think that was part of the 'conditions are more favorable'- meaning he could help organize a union and not end up on the chopping block.

“If your boss tells you that he’ll pay you a bunch more money if you become the champion but your boss is the one who decides whether or not you’ll ever get the chance to fight for the title well that doesn’t look quite as appealing when you break it down that way now does it?”

Funny how in a professional organisation, people would even consider the emotions of the boss in a contract negotiation. Seems a bit gangland in my opinion.

According to Benson and other Bellator fighters, Coker is actually a proponent of a Fighters Association and wouldn't fight it at all.

UFC fighters sound like they are in an abusive relationship most of the time.

A Fighter's Union with Benson as the CHOSEN ONE, is a Union under GOD..may the chosen one free the slaves again

Coker is a visionary. He might be the person to do Shamrock vs Gracie in 2016, but he's brought a lot of good (talent and ideas) into the sport.

Sounds like the fighters are afraid of burning bridges and having the UFC buy out all the competition again leaving them unemployed.

because coker is a true supporter of growing the sport...he's not just worried about the bottom like and bashing guys for not bowing down..Dfw needs to take notes...

I would love to see more high profile fighters jump ship and go to Bellator. If that happens maybe the finally change the name, stop the freak show fights and WWE type antics.

Once Joe Rogan is done with the UFC I'd love to see him join forces with Coker, both guys are huge supporters of the positive development and evolution of the sport. Rogan for VP of Operations or COO of Bellator? I wouldn't be mad at that.

Although I believe him and DFW are still on good terms as friends, so I don't see it actually happening. :(

I hear Coker saying that, but I don't think Viacom would share that opinion. They were the ones who locked up Alvarez even though Bjorn caught the heat. They also sued Rampage. Organizing may be easier in Bellator, but it will still get adversarial.

Dana White is friends with no one.... Even if he is, if they disagree with him, they were just some bum that he knew.

I want Schievelo with Bellator...He's one of the most under rated and knowledgeable ppl in the sport...Rogans too loyal I'm afraid..

I wouldn't fault them too much for suing Rampage.

Rampage goes from love to hate with promoters at the drop of a hat, it seems. I get the feeling he's the type of guy who needs absolute deference, otherwise you're "disrespecting" him. I mean, he straight up sexually assaulted a female journalist on TV. It was one of the most uncomfortable MMA moments of all time.
