For me he is the GOAT. People always talk shit about how he boring and I can understand the argument but he just swallowed the souls of most of his opponents the moment the first round started. I look at his fight record and I look at his opponents and it's pretty damn impressive that he basically beat everyone he fought. His two losses were avenged in dominant fashion both times.

I think GSP is a class act and if I had a kid that wanted to enter any martial art I would gladly show my son or daughter him as someone to model themselves after.

sorry TheAwkwardTitan @TheAwkwardTitan he had started to, but had more time for it after fighting. he's been doing it for a while now.
Ah so that's what you meant. He's really been staying active since retiring. That's good.

On a side note I think more fighters should definitely add at least some gymnastics based workouts to their training. I personally don't train in any aspect of MMA, but I did gymnastics and competed some in my early to mid teens and a lot of what you work on in gymnastics helps with key aspects of mixed martial arts. It builds strength, flexibility, precision, balance, cardio, etc. It's just a great all around workout.

GSP please dont go back. If you do, UFC will do everything they can to make sure you lose (as in giving toughest matchups). You have the opportunity to go out on top! Keep it.

The only asterisk I have on him is greasegate. I can't believe how it was basically overlooked when it comes to his career. He seems like a decent guy and definitely a talented fighter. But imo that's a pretty big slight on a very illustrious career. And the I pulled my groin, idc hit him with it will forever be one of my favorite exchanges in mma history.
