Saw this posted elsewhere, posting the question here...

What is the longest delay between issues you have experienced?

I can recall Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk:

#1 - February 2006
#2 - April 2006
#3 - May 2009 (3 years and 1 month!!!!!!!!!)
#4 - June 2009
#5 - June 2009
#6 - July 2009

Next!

I can't think of a wait that long. Superman Unchained comes to mind but after checking with google it wasn't that bad.
#5 - January 2014
#6 - April 2014
#7 - July 2014
#8 - November 2014
#9 - January 2015

Pretty Deadly. Issue #5 came out April 2014 and issue #6 was out November 2015. Image books generally take a brief hiatus to get ahead but this one took quite a bit longer than any other I've been reading.
Black Science breaks for three months usually and it feels like an eternity. Haha.

If books count then George R.R. Martin has made me wait over 5 years three times now.

DAYUM! DOUBLE DAYUM!!

15!?!?!?!?!??!
The crazy thing is that he still threatens to continue the series every now and then. I was a teenager when I started reading those comics and now I'm in my 30's and not really interested in those kind of stories any more.

I've never been angrier after reading than when I finished this series.
I 100% agree. I sat there and thought, for real? That's how you're going to end it? All the build up, all the wait, all the amazing scenes I've created in my head from the story.....and THIS is what you give us?

I collected Groo the Wanderer comics in the 80's and bought the new Groo vs Conan series along with some older issues when I rediscovered the series while browsing Amazon, so 20 years. edit - I didn't understand the question and thought "for you" meant something else lol

I gave up on that series and then when I read the last few chapters just to see how it ended I was VERY happy with my decision. What a total piece of shit....

Really enjoyed up until the end. Just felt like a ripoff after so many years.

It's definitely not up there with the longest gaps between issues, but Legacy of Luther Strode has been taking a long time between issues.

I can't remember the longest gap for me. A couple of months ago i got caught on Invincible after losing interest. The gap hasn't been that long but i hope issue 127 comes out before i lose interest again.
