If there is any justice in the world, this fight will be booked for UFC 200, both legends will put on the most entertaining fight in the world with the two most interesting/contrasting styles, immediately followed by them both telling the UFC to go fuck themselves and then joining forces to create a new mixed martial arts organization dedicated to showcasing the skill and respect that is learned and earned from training, perfecting and performing in martial arts.

That is all.

When they were both in there primes i would of picked Silva but i think GSP would beat him now.

If I had to guess, then I'd say that was one of the options for UFC 200 if Silva had won, but now I think it's going to be between GSP and McGregor to see who gets a crack at Lawler. Conor is a monster draw, so if he beats Nate, and especially if he finishes him, then I'd have to think the UFC will do Lawler vs McGregor. If Conor loses, then Lawler vs GSP is the next biggest fight they could make for UFC 200.

When GSP is 49 and Anderson is 51, that's when I wanna watch that fight. Now it's too early.

I don't know anything about gsp's contract, but anderson signed a lifetime contract at something like 10 fights. Anderson isn't in any position to fight elsewhere.

GSP would absolutely wreck him.

100%. When this was "the superfight" back in the day I didn't want it to happen because I thought Andy was too big and too talented. The fight would not be competitive now. For the people who say GSP was not a finisher, he would finish this version of Andy in dramatic fashion.

dont wanna see it
GSP will be passive
AS will be passive
Legacies to protect and checks to collect
Superfights are far better between hungry younger fighters

would resemble AS Leites IMO

GSP might take it now... lol.

Ah fuck it, maybe not - After all he said McGregor should not be moving up so fast lol - I guess he thinks everyone should be on the GSP 8 year plan to move up one weight class....

Jesus Christ... some fickle people up in here...

If Silva dropped two punches after that knee and Herb waved it off there would be nuthugging and calls for a title shot.

Personally, as mentioned, I wouldn't give a shit who won, who pleased the UFC more, or who doesn't please that fan with "Just Bleed' painted on his head. Just let these two legends fight - test their skills and rake in a huge pay day before riding off into the sunset and retiring.
