The McGregor express baby. Not surprised, mother fuckers.

"when", which he will, defend his belt, then go up to 155 and claim that also, we will be seeing the 2 mil mark Broken for sure.

Give MMA another 10 years, honestly think we could be seeing purses like that by then.
We will when they get the greedy corrupt promoters out of the way. Promoting the fight and deciding who fights who has to change. I see it becoming more like boxing and independent titles

People forget Holly Holm was on this card. Casuals know her as the chick who throttled Rousey, so that's two names on the card casuals know about. Unfortunately, now they know her as the one-hit wonder and Conor as the one-dimensional leprechaun. Great numbers - assuming they are even true - but who wants to see Holm and McGregor fight again besides us? That's the real question.

Who wouldn't want to see McGregor fight again? He put on a show at 196 even if he lost. We'll find out soon, anyway, as he is going to be on UFC 200, likely headlining.

People who don't really like the sport, maybe they just tuned in to see this Irish guy fight that they heard about on SportsCenter talking all this nonstop shit. Now they've seen him get destroyed and they know he has no reason to talk shit without sounding lame, so the question is do they care about MMA enough to see him fight again?

Probably the first event in history that a ppv with no title fight main event potentially made more than one with a title fight. Still think it would have broke the 1 mil mark easily with RDA.

All in all they both had the best the paydays of their careers, Nates gained a massive following now (even bigger than before) and for me this is only good for the sport, there will be bigger events and bigger paydays. Its all about progression. This blows 90% of fighters salaries clean out of the water.
You forget the Mcgrecor belt. It trumps all other belts.

Didn't affliction try the independent title thing? Thought it was a pretty good idea.

Letting fighters choose their own fights may not be great, I hate when you have 2 boxers you really wanna see fight but you end up waiting 6 years on them, boxers dodge each other far too much.

At least in the ufc if there's 2 fighters in a division and the fight makes sense, generally it's gonna go down sooner or later.
