Bas Rutten & Mauro Ranallo reunited on “Inside MMA”

UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten said the new guy at the “Inside MMA” desk, Mauro Ranallo, is going to bring a new vibe to the long-running MMA show on AXS TV.

“(AXS TV is) going to realize it’s a different kind of energy, and they’re probably going to build a show around that,” Rutten told MMAjunkie Radio. “So whatever the people enjoy, we’re going to do more of that.”

The partnership reunites Rutten and Ranallo more than a decade after Ranallo joined the commentary team for the now-defunct PRIDE. Earlier this year, the pair also started a combat sports podcast, “Rutten and Ranallo.”

Ranallo steps in for broadcast veteran Kenny Rice, who originated the show with Rutten in 2007.

I wish I could like this, but InsideMMA seems more like InsideUFC.
I'm not confident I won't be hearing another sellout, which would be a MAJOR disappointment.

I see where you are coming from Hitman. It is a new podcast and i think they will get their format down soon , i just like tne banter between rutten and ranallo.

People give renallo shit and some will say they don't like him but he's ok, he's just a squirrel trying to get a nut and he's doing well for himself. He's doing wwe (I believe, which is a perfect fit for his voice and demeanour), also Bas said on hogan's podcast that he's bipolar so he struggles and obviously goes through some rough patches.......all the best of luck to him.
